The Buntingford & District Social Club has a membership of about 600 at the present time, comprising a cross section of ages from 18 to 80 plus. Live entertainment is a highlight of the club every Saturday evening, click ( above ) What's On ? Saturdays for more information. The Club has teams involved in the local darts and pool leagues, run by the members themselves. New members to the Club have to be proposed by existing members. However, if you are new to the area and do not know anyone you are still welcome to drop in for a chat and have a look around. You may find there's a member there that you know who can sign you in as a guest for the evening. Basic ( Non CIU ) membership costs £ 10.00 + VAT per annum = £ 11.75. New members also pay a £ 10.00 joining fee, and £ 3.00 for a door entry card, and a 5p share in the club Making a total of £ 24.80 for a NEW MEMBER ( Non CIU ) for this current year 2006 CIU membership renewal is £ 6.00 at this time but can change annually |
